Quick Pickled Onions

Ingredients
  • ½ cup vinegar (apple cider or wine vinegar)
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar and salt in the vinegar. Add the onions and let sit for about 1 hour at room temperature.
